Sabbath School Goals
As Sabbath School Superintendent, I’m excited to say that our main goal is to win souls, keep them and train them for the Kingdom of God.
We are endeavoring to see a renewed commitment in every member of the Midland Heights Church towards studying the word of God.
We plan to reach the community through two Community Guest Day programs for the year.
During these times we honour people or an organization from the community who have or are performing outstanding services. The community is also is invited to worship with us thus fulfilling another goal of the Sabbath School which is community outreach.

We have four Sabbath School Breakfast planned for the year.
Whenever we have breakfast, the lesson is brought to life through the process of dramatization. It encourages members to come early to Sabbath School and stimulate fellowship, which is another goal of the Sabbath School.
The church picnic is also a vehicle to create fellowship.
I would like to encourage everyone to attend Sabbath School. Your presence is valuable to us. The teaching method is flexible and does not stick to old routine.
As members we need to carry the gospel to the world and to do that, we first have to know it. The Sabbath School serves as a primary vehicle for instruction, discussion and exploration of the word. It also helps regulate lives, develop minds and change character.
Positive life changes occur by studying the word of God.
